I cant recall how many times we have been asked about a painted magnetic solution. So it is with some relief that we have discovered a paint system that has the strength to work with one or two coats.
Called 'Switch Scene' by The wallpaper mural company - it allows for overpainting and has green credentials.
MagScapes will review and post all findings - if it is as good as we hope - we will bring the Switch Scene products to our showroom in London.
MagScapes invented the first printable magnet-receptive wallcovering - essentially to make magnets work on walls. The idea - to enable ongoing arrangement of personal space. This blog covers ideas that address or expand on this concept...

Graham & Brown Designs - available from MagScapes
Well time has come for MagScapes to sell Graham & Brown: Wallcoverings, Wall Art, Decofun kids range. It all began when we were cross promoting the now classic Frames wallcovering - it was an ideal design for our MS Plus Liner.
I look forward to seeing more ideas on combining magnets with G&B designs.

PULL™ Magnetic Fixtures
A cool design range of strong magnetic accessories. not cheap but super strong.
How Pull™ was Developed
The genius of Pull™ occurred during a design build engagement for our client Hobo Bag International. The founder Tony Ray said to us, “please, whatever you do, do not use slat wall and the Puck System, I can’t stand either one of those systems!”. So with that as inspiration, Pull™ was born.

Highly rated, by Amazon customers - these wooden magnets:
From Djeco - toy makers.
check here for details: £15.90 set of 24 pieces.
Jeweller's Bling...
Found a new and odd type of magnet...
It is used by those 'cash your gold' jewellers to sift through various metals and sift out the cheaper ferrous materials.
I think it is rather beautiful - and would work great as a placeholder for presentations or charts on a wall - using our MS Plus wallcoverings beneath of course.
Will provide an update when we get it in stock...

Magnetic clear-fronted Containers?
![]() |
Today, Lisa from PatternmyWalls in Sydney found some great magnet containers - from Ikea no less!!
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80102919
These work a treat on MS Plus Liner, Dry Erase wallcoverings.
And cheap so for a few bucks for a set of three think:
- spices in kitchens
- sweets anywhere
- coasters in lounge
- jewellery in bedroom
- keys in hallway
you get the idea...
